| History | Completed in May 1918 On 4 Aug 1940, the Norwegian motor merchant Sofie Bakke (5461 grt) sank after a collision with Lima when that ship ran into her while maneuvering in the convoy OA-193 about 5 miles east of Buchan Ness. No casualties. | ||
| Notes on event | At 00.58 hours on 13 Sep 1942 the unescorted Lima was torpedoed and sunk by U-506 off Liberia. The U-boat misidentified her as Sima (5244 grt). | ||
