At 10.52 hours on 6 May 1941 the Oakdene (Master Ernest Hart), dispersed from convoy OG-59, was hit aft by one G7e torpedo from U-105 and sank northwest of St. Paul Rocks. The master, 31 crew members and three gunners were picked up by HMS Dorsetshire (40) (Capt B.C.S. Martin, RN).
