The Brazilian minelayer BZ Camaqua (C 6) lost on 21 Jul 1944 in position 7° 50'S, 34° 29'W.
Capsized and sank in a storm around 0950hours on 21 July 1944, some 30 nautical miles east of Recife, Brasil in position 07º50'S, 34º29'W. At the time of loss she was engaged in the escort of a JT convoy to Trinidad.
