All ships of the Task Group including USS Iowa (Capt. A.R. McCann, USN) were fuelled by a group of oilers. Iowa herself was fuelled by the USS Nantahala (Capt. P.M. Gunnell, USN) but not before she had fuelled the destroyers USS Twining (Cdr. E.K. Wakefield, USN) and USS Stockham (Cdr. E.P. Holmes, USN) herself.

18 Nov 1944
USS Iowa (Capt. A.R. McCann, USN) fuelled the destroyers USS Twining (Cdr. E.K. Wakefield, USN), USS Hunt (Cdr. H.A. Knoertzer, USN), USS Stockham (Cdr. E.P. Holmes, USN) and USS Lewis Hancock (Cdr. W.M. Searles, USN).

USS Iowa (Capt. J.L. Holloway, Jr., USN) topped off four of the destroyers of the Task Group, USS Cushing (Lt.Cdr. W.D. Adams, USN), USS Stockham (Cdr. D.L. Moody, USN), USS Uhlmann (Cdr. S.C. Small, USN) and USS Colahan (Cdr. M.A. Shellabarger, USN), with fuel.

29 Jul 1945
USS Iowa (Capt. C. Wellborn, Jr., USN) topped off four of the destroyers of the Task Group, USS McDermut (Cdr. C.B. Jennings, USN), USS Monssen (Lt.Cdr. E.G. Sanderson, USN), USS Stockham (Cdr. D.L. Moody, USN) and USS Benham (Lt.Cdr. W.L. Poindexter, USN), with fuel.

11 Aug 1945
USS Iowa (Capt. C. Wellborn, Jr., USN) topped off four of the destroyers of the Task Group, USS Benham (Lt.Cdr. W.L. Poindexter, USN), USS Cogswell (Cdr. R.N. Perley, Jr., USN), USS Uhlmann (Cdr. S.C. Small, USN) and USS Stockham (Cdr. D.L. Moody, USN), with fuel. Following the fuelling of these destroyers Iowa herself was fuelled by the oiler USS Neches (Cdr. H.G. Hansen, USN).

21 Aug 1945
USS Iowa (Capt. C. Wellborn, Jr., USN) topped off four of the destroyers of the Task Group, USS Wedderburn (Lt.Cdr. R.W. Clark, USN), USS Twining (Cdr. F.V. List, USN), USS Stockham (Cdr. D.L. Moody, USN) and USS Frazier, with fuel.

22 Aug 1945
USS Iowa (Capt. C. Wellborn, Jr., USN) topped off three of the destroyers of the Task Group, USS Woodworth (Lt.Cdr. W.P. Mack, USN), USS Stockham (Cdr. D.L. Moody, USN) and USS Twining (Cdr. F.V. List, USN), with fuel. Following the fuelling of these destroyers Iowa herself was fuelled by the oiler USS Kennebago (Lt.Cdr. C.W. Brockway, USNR).
