History | HrMs Eland Dubois (Lt. Hendrik de Jong, RNN(R)) was scuttled near Gili Genteng because of defects making escape to Australia hopeless. The crew transferred to the Jan van Amstel, but she was sunk with heavy loss of life the same day. More on this ship see this website (offsite link). |
