HrMs O 14 (Lt.Cdr. H.A.W. Goossens, RNN) arrived at Dundee. During her last patrol O 14 again developed engine trouble. It was decided not to repair the submarine. She was to be decommissioned and used to provide spare parts for her sister ship O 15.

Before O 14 was decommissioned she was used for A/S training off the Firth of Forth. Only the Starboard diesel engine was operational. (11)
