Around 0520 hours, HMS Nelson (Capt. H.B. Jacomb, RN), HrMs Isaac Sweers (Capt. W. Harmsen, RNN) and HMS Porcupine (Cdr. G.S. Stewart, RAN) arrived at Gibraltar.

While taking up her berth HMS Nelson fouled the merchant vessel Empire Gawain and the minesweepers HMS Bude (Lt. F.A.J. Andrew, RN) and HMS Brixham (Lt. G.A. Simmers, RNR). HMS Nelson sustained some minor damage. (1)

27 Sep 1943
ORP Dzik (Kpt.mar. (Lt.Cdr.) B.S. Romanowski) departed Bizerta for Malta. She is escorted by HMS Bude (T/A/Lt.Cdr. E.A.C. Phillips, RNR). (2)
