Reverted back to DD-711 on 15 March 1963.
Decommissioned 31 August 1972 and loaned to Spain being renamed Churruca (D61).
Stricken 2 June 1975.
Sold to Spain 17 May 1978.
Churruca was stricken by Spain 15 September 1989.
Used for target practice and sunk by the Spanish Navy on 12 December 1991.
