ISBN 1900511851
Paperback, 253 pages, numerous photos

Descripton: From an architectural office in North London in 1939, Ken Sims joined the Fleet Air Arm and became a ‘TAG’. The book details his training and then on into action. He was involved in Crete, Greece and then North Africa and took part in the struggle against the U-boats in the Mediterranean. The author introduces anecdotes from his TAG colleagues to cover their action in the Norwegian Campaign, from Malta in the Indian Ocean and then with the Pacific Fleet. The story continues after World War II, now back with the author, through the Korean War. There are comprehensive appendices of TAG casualties from 1925 to 1959 and TAG awards.
