Descripton: In 1942 the Soviet Fleet command realized that there were too many submarines in the Pacific, and too few ocean-going boats in the Arctic. To redress the balance, they ordered six boats, four S-Class and two L-Class, to deploy from Vladivostok to Polarnoye around the world, by way of the Panama Canal.
