Emblem of U-96

I know this is an old question, however I still have not found a definite answer. What color was the sawfish on U-96.........black as portrayed in das boot, green or red? I am building a 1/32 scale operating model of this boat, I know that is the most popular one to build but I would like to put my own \'historical twist on things!
