One thing--depending on the depiction, the barrel of the gun has a sloped contour, in that it gets narrower as you approach the the end of the barrel. The drawing I have shows that the fronthalf of the barrel is sloped. But Herne model. as well as other renditions, show a sloped contour extending throughout the length of the barrel. I bought a brass tube that should work. If I am unable to figure out how to replciate that sloped contour, I will use the resin piece that is sloped, and replace thje front portion with a brass tube.
