Three modelbrass questions

Hello everybody,

Finally the Modelbrass decks arrived yesterday! Now I can proceed with the model, so here are some questions.


1. What about the deck gun tread bars, should I place the ones from Eduard or Modelbrass?

2. Does anybody have a good reference on how the saddle tank vents should be placed?

3. I might replace the lower flood holes by the ones from Modelbrass. I've never done anything like this before, so can anybody help me out with this by giving me a description or some installation pictures? (Or both!)
