Oliver,

I don\'t pretend to be an expert on this subject, but I still would question your statement.

If what you stated is true, how do you explain the incidents that I referred to in an earlier posting (re: U 163), where the commander used the stern tubes submerged and as suited the circumstances?

Can you explain further?
