Thanks for the pics.

I think that U992 and U637 have the same basic schnorchel design.

Like the ball float type, there were many different makers. Some were even made in the U-boat bases and shipyards. I have seen many differing types of ball-float schnorchels on wrecks.

I assume the above to be the same.

Clearly U481 has been fitted with the pneumatic type?
