Hi Jack,

Never did connect GPS (Global Positioning System) with the boomers ( missle boats) but it does make sence with the short wavelength. It would provide for an instant fix of your position.

Do the dead reckoning plotters allow for ocean current or is there a given time or distance that dead reckoned position would be considered questionable?


Can a GPS fix be taken while at periscope depth? say the antenna on top of the periscope..
