According to Jane's Underwater Warfare Systems, page 270, the Model 9057 (AN/UQN-4) Sonar Sounding Set was "new" in 1993 and uses a 12khz transducer, wattage is not listed. It is made by EDO Corp., Salt Lake City, UT

As far as the GPS use on U.S. submarines, Jane's sez on page 133, the GPS is
mounted in the Model 90 Optronic Periscope System which is used by the Seawolf and Virginia-class attack boats. A similar GPS system may be used by Los Angeles and Ohio-class boats. I have no data on the latter.

I can't find any info regarding depth sounding gear on U-2513 and U-3008 Type XXI
boats in Eberhard Rossler's "THE U-BOAT"......It does mention the sonar gear, however.
