Hi Nils,
Research towards greater underwater speed and endurance was conducted throughout the war. Most concentrated on streamlining hull and conning towers. Other direction was to get increase in batt capacity, but staying within same dimensions of cells. A full size schoolboot was used in the Baltic to try out various ideas. Forgot the number/Cdrs.
