HMS Unbending (P 37)

I've seen the record on this sub:

[uboat.net]

On 9 Oct, 1942 he states:

HMS Unbending (Lt. Stanley) torpedoes and sinks the Italian merchant Alga (1851 BRT) and sinks the Italian Giuseppe Magliulo (846 BRT) with gunfire. Both near Djerba, Tunisia.

Have you any idea where did they get those info?
Various italian sources reports that the Magliulo sunk on mine near Gaeta, Italy on 6 September 1943.

I made some search at the uk national archives spending 40 pounds but they wasn't able to extract mission data from the Unbending files.

Any help is appreciated

Thank you

David
