<HTML>I think we have to clear the different positions. Personnally I don't know where the Campanula attack happened. Groener says 38.30N,24.25E that means in the Egean Sea southwest of Skiros Island. So UB66 could be there if the attack on Windsor Hall was not done by her, but then by whom.
In the same area was sunk on the 18th the british tanker Trocas north of Skiros Island by UC23, so it could have been UC23 which was attacked by the Campanula if the attack was located in the Egean
Bendert locate the attack of the Campanula at Cape Bon which means between Tunesia and Sicilia.
U33 which had to go from Cattaro to the east mediterranean had no reason to be there.The only german boat in this region was U63, but it is for sure that she sunk the Maria and the Ville de Bordeaux west of Sardegna on this day and it is right that the distance to Cape Bon is 270 nm.
In sea were at the 18th U33 from Cattaro to east mediterranean (23.1.Alexandria)
U63 west of Sardegna
U65 Tyrrhenian sea at the 19th, so possibly at Cape Bon the 18th
UB69 probably sunk by the Cyclamen on January 9, 1918 northwest of Cape Bon.But if she was not sunk this day she could well be attacked the 18th at this place if the Campanula attack was located at cape Bon.
UC53 20.1. west coast of Italie, so could have been attacked by the Campanula if the Attack was located Cape Bon
UC67 20.1.east of Sardegna,so could have been attacked by the Campanula if the attack was located Cape Bon</HTML>
