<HTML>The wreck N of Dunbar by a process of elimination must be U77. As you say Micheal it is definately a UE class and all others are accounted for elsewhere in my info. The wreck was initially thought to be a K boat when first found from the angle she is sitting at with the bow high in the air. Thus looking like the large bow of a K boat. The visibility gets a bit poor there sometimes and the Isle of May is not that far away.
The wreck has been destroyed aft of the conning tower, but apparently the stern is close by. The RN never claimed a sinking and I suspect she mined herself, not an unknown situation for WW1 minelaying U boats.</HTML>
