Hi mates,
foundered after beeing stopped by gunfire and released after examination could be a probable reason for her loss. This wouldn't be the first time. The Danish sailing vessel "Erik" suffered this fate after beeing stopped and released by UB 129 (Neumann).
Best wishes,
Simon S.
