<HTML>Hello Kurt

On the scope of activity of external intelligence on penetration into the intelligence and antiintelligence organs of abwer speaks the fact that in the majority of them during the years of war simultaneously acted several intelligence agents. Only in 1943 they were obtained and they were transmitted to the Soviet center of the military antiespionage information about 1260 agents of abwera, who was sent into the units in action of the Red Army.

Directly in Germany good intelligence possibilities had available the leaders of illegal antinazi groups Ober-Lieutenant Schultze-Bolzen ("Starshina"), who worked in 5 department of operational staff section of Airforse and the consultant of the ministry of economy of Germany Arvid Harnak ("Corsican"). Both of them even in 30th created underground antinazi group for dealing with the Nazism, on their initiative they established contact with the Soviet representatives and they were drawn by external intelligence to the secret collaboration. Schultze-Bolzen ("Starshina") was the grandson of Grossadmiral von Tirpits, and his immediate superior leader Luftwaffe Hering was the planted father on the wedding of "Starshina". The "Starshina" was chief of the secret department of the intelligence division of staff Airforse where the reports of the air attache of Germany of all countries entered. "Starshina" had also an access to the secret maps of Luftwaffe, on which were indicated the targets for the bomber aviation. "Corsican" had available important secret data along economic questions. The information of the "Starshina" and of "Corsican", that entered Moscow center from October 1940 up to 1942, showed Soviet management great assistance in the disclosure of the military plans of Germany in the attitude of the USSR. In particular, besides the warnings about the inevitability of the war of Germany against Russia, in the spring of 1942 from them was obtained the information about the fact that, in spite of the disinformation of abver, according to which German army will again attempt to take Moscow, in reality the principal shock of Germans will be brought to the side of the Stalingrad and Caucasus.

During August 1942 for German antiespionage it was possible to fix and then to take the radio station of German underground antinazi and to arrest the intelligence parties of "Red Kapella" (red choir) both in Germany and in Belgium and France. On business of "Red Kapella" were drawn to the law court more than 600 people. Almost they all were executed.

At the beginning of 1944 in Germany and it's allays acted 97 agents including of 10 Germans. In total at this period in 27 countries acted 190 Soviet agents.

During the years of war into the Moscow regularly entered political information about the relation of the USA to the USSR on the prospects for opening the "second front" in Europe, about the separate negotiations of the leader of American special services in Europe A. Dulles with the representatives of German Wehrmacht and other important information.
