<HTML>i think that the investigation bsiness was taken out of dönitz hands considering the way himmler tried to get intelligence and police in his fingers.and to be frank the ss -except for schellenberg- was not that clever in intelligence and counter ops.
as everyone knows enigma was in use for business applications long time before the war and was a simple "product" which was offered on the market of business machines in germany. so i wonder why the penetration of enigma took that long (ok,in military use the enigma was spiced up, but...).</HTML>
