<HTML>Hi Oliver,

The KTB for the patrol on which U-352 was sunk is not likely to be in the National Archives as it went down with the boat. I haven't heard of anyone retrieving it but it has been dived a lot and it is probably gone. The U.S. Navy has been inside twice that I know of (once to survey the ordinance), perhaps they have it.

Also the KTB's I have seen have not contained details of the ordinance carried. They contain some details of torpedoes fired but as a general rule, not of the deck gun rounds fired (although the exact number of 105mm & 37mm rounds fired at my dad's ship were recorded that information was not recorder for most of the other ships sunk by that sub). I have not seen anything in a KTB about the number of 20mm rounds fired or scuttling charges, etc.

There were still U-352 survivors alive a few years ago, including her commander though if you can find them.

Regards,

Ken Dunn</HTML>
