<HTML>No direct evidence exists to prove that ultra was either sent to, or deciphered by the Russians.Churchill was sceptical that the Russians were capable of keeping ssecret the fact that ultra even existed, so did not share the material with the Russians.Even if the Russians did indeed capture the machine, there is no reason the think that they then could understand the code.Remember also that the poles cracked the code in the late thirties, but didnt pass on the details to the Russians.
Perhaps Yuri would tell us when and how the Russians cracked the code.I wasnt aware that they did.</HTML>
