I think what you said would apply here in the U.S. If you were to ask who was the most noted sniper of the VietNam war or "name one of the flag raisers on Iwo Jima?" one would get blank stares and no one "pounded" them into sewers. However ask them who plays a certain position on a sports team and they would spit out three hours worth of answers. I think even though "they" were being "pounded into sewers" they would still be able to tell you who Prien was as well as Topp, Kretchmer and the other HEROES. Of course that was then.....</HTML>
