U-505 books

I am new to uboat.net, and with good reason. In 1942, my grandfather (and namesake) was the captain of the Benmohr and was sailing off the west coast of Africa when he his ship was torpedoed and sunk - fortunately with no loss of life, though my grandather sported scars on his face after that. It was literally only 4 days ago, that I discovered that the U-boat concerned was U-505 and that is had been captured and was now an exhibit in a museum in Chicago! There has been great excitement in my family about this. Up until this point, we had only heard the official British "Ben Line" version of the story published in a book in 1946. I have been trawling the internet ever since for more information and have come across the following titles that seem to relate to the U-505. I would be very grateful if anybody could tell me if they contain a description of the sinking of the Benmohr and if they are considered reliable by this U-boat community. If anyone knows of any other books, or films I would like to hear about them. Many thanks!

1. We Captured a U-Boat - Daniel V. Gallery

2. Steel Boats, Iron Hearts - Hans Goebeler

3. U-505 Victory - Lawrence Cortesi

4. U - 505 (original title- 20 Million Tons under the Sea)-
Rear Admiral Daniel V Gallery
