Anyway, Visje pretty much summed it up. The beach he is talking about is a minute walk from my house in Aruba. The beach is name Rodger\'s Beach (maybe after someone else who was involved?). Good place for swimming and grabbing a cold beer while enjoying the tradewinds. Hard to imagine such an event happening in this serene area.

In addition, two other ships were either shelled or torpedoed in the same attack. The Oranjestad and the Pedernalis.

Thanks for those names Visje, I did not know those.

One more thing, such an event may also have occurred in Curacao as I\'ve heard conflicting stories. The torpedo exploding after a towing procedure incident definitely occurred in Aruba.
