Hi Hans,
Presumably promotion in submarine engine room ratings would be more or less the same in all navies? IE : Torpedoman to Leading Hand to Petty Officer to Chief Petty Officer to Gunnery Officer.
I have not my equivalent ratings chart to hand to match with Kriegsmarine ratings. Bet you don't need one:-)
