as a long time seafarer of 27 years I could not expressed it better than John. All I can say is, that I have footage of French women, get their hair cut off because they collaborated with German soldiers, and I have pictures of a Russian woman, which got hanged, after the Russians found out, that she had an affair with a German soldier.
I believe, that the women of that time just wanted to \" make a living \" not because of the sexual freedom or fun. I personally know of women in Germany, who got involved with an American only to feed her children, because her husband was as an POW for years in a foreign country. I would never consider these women as ,,,,,, just because they wanted to survive with there children.
AS a weapon: yes, because I know that a lot of intelligence came from some women and of course from all different kind of sources.
