Hi Kevin

I note that you plan to visit U-Boat bunker Valentin in Bremen-Farge. I visited this Bunker last year. I can recommend a good hotel at a reasonable price in Bremen. The hotel is called City Partner Hotel Residence and is located about 7 minutes walk from the Raiway Station. My wife and I stayed in this hotel and found it good value for money. Farge is very close to Bremen. It is a lovely city on the River Weser. Hamburg is very close to Bremen and you might like to visit the U-Boat bunker Fink 2 and Russian submarine U-434 also in Hamburg. I recommend that you also visit U-2540 and the ship Museum in Bremerhaven. Sorry I can't give you any information on France as I have not been there.
