Never heared about this motto for ALL?! u-boatcommanders. One have to be quiet sceptically sometimes, watching diverse documentaries about WWII. Only because its said in a TV documentary, it hasnt to be right. Not geniuses are producing them, but people like u and me and often reporters, who are quiet lasy in doing proper research^^. I Just remember a 3 part documentary about the Atlantic wolfes, in which it was claimed, that Otto Kretschmer sank 48 or so aircraft carriers. :-)))

The motto "Wir fahren gegen Engelland" would fit more as an motto for naval soldiers, but not especially for commanders.
