Hi Ken, I agree a excellent book, there is one reference that I have found that I cannont resolve. On pages 20 - 21, the photo caption describes U460 under going training in the Baltic in April 1942, supplying a type IXB boat. Now as I understand the situation with IXB boats, U64,U65,U104,U110,U111 and U122 were already lost, of the rest, U103, U105, U106, U107, U123 and U124 were in Lorient, while U108 and U109 were out in the Western Atlantic on patrol. The photo [page 21], is of a type IX boat, but ? not a type IXB, any thoughts on this? Regards John
