Hi John,

I am sorry to say, but the book of Högel is incorrect in this case. He took his drawing from these previously misidentified photographs, but apart from small differences in the appearance of U 460 and U 488, another shot from the sequence of photos not printed in the book clearly shows the CO Schnoor of U 460 together with his men and the other officer. Evidently the emblem of U 460 was slightly changed before the final patrol.
