germans and japanese had such boats.look up any book about naval small fighting boats and you find em.the japanese had them in the pacific stationed on the islands the americans started to conquer by their island hopping offensive.as fas as i know (have seen photos) they were there in hidden bunkers at the coast but not used.the germans tried to use those sprenglinsen in the last months of the war against big bridges etc.</HTML>
