U-571 is morally better

<HTML>Even though U-571 has a few technical faults, I think it is morally a much more satisfying movie than "Das Boot, the Director's Cut".
The Americans in U-571 only kill military personnel compared to the civilian tanker crew left in the burning oil in Das Boot. (And the lifeboat machinegunned by the original German U-571 crew. - Yes I know it didn't really happen but the point is it COULD have!).
Also in U-571 in essence the "good guys" win! In Das Boot most of the heroes of the movie are killed off at the end. It doesn't really complete the circle.</HTML>
