<HTML>Hi Cate,
Did a little bit of telephonic and online inquiries into the reformatting issues. Three local(Texas) video companies assured me that they could reformat PAL tapes to NTSC. Apparently the image size may be slightly compromised in the transfer process. The major obstacle seems to be not copyright ethics but financial. The quotes I recieved varied from $125-$175. A couple of places quoted a flat $25 per tape but limited tape duration to 3h. Has anybody actually done this? I'd be interested in getting more input before proceeding.
