<HTML>After looking around a bit, I've come to the conclusion that PAL/NTSC(/SECAM) VCRs are available in the US, but they're generally pretty costly, running from around $250 to $1500. A decent NTSC VCR can be had for $70.

I don't look to see a lot of these coming on the market, either. Current predictions for the death of video cassettes is around five to eight years, and some retailers have already stopped carrying anything but DVD.
