<HTML>What we are up against is a very shallow education. Anyone who gets their history from the movies can't be taken seriously. It's a similar, but not identical, problem with TV documentaries. Too many people want to be spoon-fed history. They need to read and if necessary, study. If films and documentaries stimulate the brain and make the viewer search for the truth then that is great. Unfortunately a lot of people don't. Thank goodness for the intelligent people who access this web site and know what they are on about, as well as serious writers and keepers of first-rate historical records.
