<HTML>I been confused about Das Boot for a long time now!
I saw the "original" version with German dialogue even though I speak no German. It was an exciting movie and I enjoyed it. It sounded German and appeared that the characters were, in fact, speaking German.
I later saw (and own) a DVD copy with English dialogue. I understand it. It sounds like English and looks like the characters are speaking English.
At the risk of seeming to be a complete imbecile... was it FILMED twice. Howdtheydothat??????
