<HTML>Hi,

well, U96 was a VIIC Type, U505 was a IXC Type....
In the beginning of "DAS BOOT" in 1980 the only exists
VIIC Boat was in Laboe. On the DVD, Wolfgang Petersen says...
"We went to Chicago and get a look inside the UBoat, 'cause
we could build it for the movie" Why he could say this ?
Both Types are different inside and outside.
I'm very disappoint about this statement.
Few times ago I was a big fan about "DAS BOOT". But now,
I'm not, 'cause there are too many errors in the movie.
