Is that a fact you know for certain, or is it just a feeling you have? I mean it is easy enough for the replica builders to get the size right.

It does look more spacious then in das Boot though, but on the other hand in das Boot they did all they could to make it look as cramped as possible.

U571 isn’t painted in such dark colours for instance and was probably shoot with a more wide angled lens that doesn’t “compress” the room as much.

But I don’t know, perhaps they did scale the boat although it does sound like a stupid thing to do.
