<HTML>Yes, same boat. Petersen mentioned it in the commentary on the Director's Cut. That boat would actually have lots of extra room inside, since there was nothing inside but an engine and a steering wheel.

Personally, I'd be interested in knowing how they got that big crate through one of the hatches. The only openings in a U-boat large enough to lower it through are the hard patches used for installing/removing the engines, and I didn't notice any welding going on before they got underway.
