<HTML>J.T.. et al:
In Indy Jones' "Ark" flick, he swims to the U-26 and climbs aboard on the
port bow, using conveniently placed limber holes. e shows no ffear of being discovered, 'cause his sweetie, having lost al her cash in the barroom fire, is busy catching up below.
He heads aft on the starboard side, passing the ladder rungs for access to the wintergarten, and decides to do a Hollywood-style swinging up
and over the railing. But wait, someone stole the 20mm AA gun, where
did the damn thing go?
Down below in the Conning Tower, the CO sports a nice white, gold-
braided cap, that would make Admiral Donitz jealous. It's a new style
being issued to U-boat skippers after they successfully complete one patrol after "rescuing" the ARK.
Did you notice how wet our hero was when U-27 enters the sub pen?
I can exlain that........When he was in LeHavre the last time boozin' it up
with Jacques Ives Cousteau, he swapped 5 gallons of grade A torpedo
juice for a case of "Midnight in Paris" perfume, and to seal the deal, gave
Indy Jones a copy of his prototype SCUBA. He couldn't find an open hatch to get below, so he sat on his butt on the wintergarten all the way.
As for the wooden crate getting below , there is a special loading hatch forward on U-26. It works something like a @#$%&. It can stretch to allow large objects to gain entrance.......:-))
Have a great day,
