Anyway, it's always a pleasure to read Volker Erich's comments !

I think one of Eric's suggestions about Hilfskreuzer Atlantis would give a good movie.
It was made already in Italy in 1960 in black/white, but maybe worth a remake. And it includes a short submarine story.
