If you clip on Wendlandt's or his wife's name a photo of the grave stone comes up thereby revealing the date they died. Wendlandt died on 5 JAN 1934. Mike or Yves this should be added to the Commanders listing. Respectfully, Joe R

Hi Michael, "Was Paul actually damaged in this?" The answer is YES! PAUL is listed in the damaged ship section of Lloyd's. Why would Lloyd's list an undamaged ship in the damaged section?? Lloyd's War Losses is not perfect but, so far, it is the best catalogue of damaged ships available. Respectfully, Joe R

Hi Everyone, An internet site details that the subject ship was attacked by gun on 4 Aug.17. At the time PAUL was owned by J.Huyghebaert,Nieuwpoort Belgium. Lloyd's War Losses confirms that the PAUL was damaged. Would an esteemed member of this forum confirm or refute that the uboat that attacked PAUL was indeed UC21. Respectfully, Joe R

U73 places 12 mines in the Kea Channel, barrage #32 on 28 Oct.'16. On 21 Nov. the HMHS Britannic finds one of the mines and sinks. So the answer to your question is that there were no uboats in the Kea Channel on the 21st of Nov.. Respectfully, Joe R
