The Canadian Naval Memorial Trust operates the "Last Corvette" of World War II. The ship is the HMCS Sackville and it has been returned to its 1944 configuration. It is open to the public from June through September along the Halifax, Nova Scotia waterfront. It is adjacent to the "Maritime Museum of the Atlantic" and the berth for "The Bluenose II" when in port.
Visitors can take advantage of guided tours throughout the ship at during the peak summer season. Otherwise visitors can press buttons to activate an English or French language description of countless parts of the ship.
