17:27 - Implemented all the information on the U-boats operational in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea into the database. Both fields are important for certain processing in the future.Totally rewrote the U-boats in the Mediterranean pages. Replaced all tables of U-boat passages into the Med with new material from the database.
17:27 - Added a nice picture of the U-116 showing its emblems.
19:50 - Finished adding 2 major sections to the database
1) Launched date for all boats
2) Crew/Dead/survivors information for all boats
This concludes the basic data entry for the most part. Phew!
01:24 - Updated the profile for U-249.Updated the final fate of U-1232.
Updated the patrol information for the Type XXIII Elektro boats. This affected the profiles for U-2322 and U-2324.
Added 2 awesome models by 32nd Parallel to the Model pages.
17:27 - Updated the page on U-boats at sea on May 4, 1945.
01:24 - Created 7 Emblem of the Week pages (boy does it make sense to make many at once! :). This should cover the next month or so.Added 2 pages on POW Recreation activities while in American POW camps.
01:24 - Created a very exiting new section called The U-boat Crew. Now it includes pages on the commanders, radio and torpedo personnel with a lot more on the way. Enjoy!
17:27 - Added 2 images to the page on mines.Did a little radio interview about the page on one of the more popular afternoon radio shows here.
01:24 - Added 5 convoy battle pages.
These were for HX-228, SC-118, SC-121, UC-1 and USG-6.Created a What's New archive page for April 1999.
