Career information

Christopher Pawley was born in London, England, served on HMS Sheffield after the War and emigrated to the Bahamas. He died in Canada. His son Nicholas has two log books for the Arctic Explorer and the ships bell from the Brixham sailing Trawler that he and friends sailed across the Atlantic to Trinidad in 1932. Prior to the Arctic Explorer he was on a ship called the Saphire (possibly a minesweeper).
